Occupational Therapist

We are looking for a full-time receptionist/executive coordinator to join our multi-disciplinary rehabilitation centre! You will ensure smooth operation of OT services while upholding the values of the clinic. You will provide excellent customer service to clients and our support networks. You have a proven track record of OT success stories, OT perils of wisdom, and a passion for life-long learning.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess and seek innovative solutions to guide a client's movement potential and meet client and clinic goals

  • Apply clinical knowledge and reasoning to implement treatment programs and meet client needs and goals

  • Develop, prescribe, and supervise treatment programs for clients to improve mobility, independence, safety and better health outcomes

  • Effectively communicate with clients, support systems, and other health care providers for optimal care 

  • Meet COTBC standards of practice and OT practice guidelines

  • Recognize the value of the health care team and collaborate effectively

Qualifications:

  • Eligible to be registered with College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia

  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team

  • Clearance from a criminal record check and child intervention check

  • Physical ability to perform duties of the job
