How do I make an appointment at TC Lifestyle?

Appointments can be made by calling our office directly at (604) 423-4878. Online consultations can also be booked here.

Do I need a referral?

No, you do not need a referral. However, some third-party payers may request an MD referral for billing. Please inquire your extended health provider if you are unsure.

Is TC Lifestyle a good fit for me?

We specialize in providing the highest quality care to all clients using innovative technology and a state-of-the-art facility. We recommend filling out an application form or booking a 10 minute phone consultation with our therapist to discuss.

Please note: we strive to meet gaps in rehabilitation and will do our best to accommodate your needs.

What equipment is available at TC Lifestyle?

We have a variety of advanced technology, including the Armeo®Power, EksonNR, iFES RT300, Biodex Gait Trainer, Lokomat® Pro, and Nustep. Clients also have the opportunity to work with our comprehensive equipment, such as our treadmill, elliptical, steps and more. Please feel free to contact us for a tour of the facility!

What should I expect at my first appointment?

You will receive a phone call to discuss your goals and application. Your first appointment will most likely consist of a clinical interview, physical examination, and introduction to our facility. For specific requests, please let our therapist know in advance. You can also refer to our What To Expect guide.

What should I wear and bring with me?

We recommend wearing clothes you are comfortable to exercise in. Specific clothing requirements may be required for use of certain specialized equipment or access to specific areas of the body. We also highly encourage indoor running shoes in our facility. Please reach out if you have any concerns!

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Please call the clinic as soon as you can. We will do our best to reschedule your appointment, so that it doesn’t interrupt your therapy.

What if I need to stop therapy before all my sessions are completed?

You may stop therapy at any time. We are happy to discuss your therapy and progress at any point in your treatment.

What if I want to continue with therapy after the program is completed?

Please discuss your wishes with your therapist. We are happy to accommodate you to the best of our ability.

What if I already have a therapist but would like to trial your equipment?

It’s great to hear you are already invested in your rehab! We are happy to provide secondary consultations, however, we do encourage you to let your current therapist(s) know so we may work together. Please let our staff know when you call to book a consultation.

Do you offer direct billing?

Yes. However, some providers may not be available. If this is a concern, please inquire within.
